As a distanced learner I enjoyed the new experience and freedom of learning remotely. I enjoyed the structure of the school day and in class instruction, but from the comfort of my home. This allowed me to set my own schedule and pace along side school, which is not too different from online classes such as this one. However, I disliked the lack of social ability with my peers and as a teacher I might assign more group projects or encourage educational chats or assignments.

OER or open educational resources are essentially educational resources that are "open"or available to use and access by anyone. This is extremely beneficial as you can retain, reuse, revise, remix, and redistribute the resource however you like. Going on Wikimedia Commons, which has a collection of OER pictures, I found a reinactment of an American Revolution battle. It depicts Militia men open firing aty Fort Lee in New Jersey.

The powerpoint assignements really hammered home transitions and animations for me. I liked the endless possibilities and resources that powerpoint allows the user to have. I just don't enjoy the format of the downloaded version which has the full abilities required for the assignments. Next time I can watch more tutorials and plan to spend more time on them.
